JOB DESCRIPTION

Fabrication of SS and MS Air intake systems, Different types of SS and MS ducts, Support structures for gas turbine product.

Responsible to meet the production target.

Production follows up based on plan schedule.

Drawing study, Materials follow up and arrange the required material to work spot.

Assign product sequence and Drawings allotment to workers.

Daily work allocation to workers.

Ensure the material is used for a project and QC approval label.

Verify that dimensions and alignment of parts are as per drawing.

Stage wise visual and dimensional inspection like (Sub assembly fit-up, Sub assembly welding, Main assembly fit-up, Main assembly welding).

Follow-up trail assemblies of fabricated modules,ducts,mountings and support structures

WIP stock counting

Preparation of daily report, Rejection report, Rework report, Monthly consumable usage.

Submit daily report to Production manager.

Co-ordinate with Stores, QC Department and Surface Treatment for respective activities of product.

Drawing clarification get from the planning department.

Promote Quality and safety awareness throughout the shop floor unit.

Experience in Welding process like MMAW, GTAW and GMAW Welding.

Ensure workplace and workers safety.

Poka yoke to prevention and detection of mistakes.

Corrective and Preventive action analysis.

Well conversant with Non-Destructive test methods- PT, MT, UT and RT.

Responsible to make a kaizen for every month.

Maintain working area as per 5S system.
