Clarity Solution Group 03/2016-till date

Last Work Experience:

Tokio Marine North America (TMNA), Philadelphia, PA 03/2016-07/2016

Role: QA Lead/Manager

TMNA made a significant commitment to insurance platform modernization through the Guidewire (“GW”) insurance suite. As part of this effort, Customer is challenged with ensuring a smooth transition of existing reporting capabilities. Currently, premium and corporate reporting are based on data from an application called APPS. Some of this data is also sourced from RapidSure. With the implementation of GW BillingCenter, there will be three (3) data sources for reporting (APPS, GW DataHub, and best RDBMS source). The Customer approach involves minimizing existing reporting impacts by transforming data from the GW DataHub and loading GW data into legacy reporting data structures. The primary objectives of the GW BillingCenter Release 1 (“R1”) Reporting Solution project are to provide the same consolidated reports for business consumption using three (3) data sources.

As a QA Lead, my responsibilities were:

Draft overall test strategy, environment, standards, guidelines and testing methodology through rigorous design, planning, execution, monitoring, and improvement which provided end-to-end traceability.

Identify requirement gaps and help development to resolve many complex issues before migrating to higher environment.

Suggest improvements to process and managing requirement changes. Also analyzed test requirements and provides a solution in terms of test approach.

Create complex queries to perform end to end system integration testing.

Identify issues and risk to project/deliverables or requirements and communicate to Clarity project lead as well as client lead.
