Duties included overseeing investigation, removal, treatment, and disposal programs involving contaminated soil. Other responsibilities included monitoring health and safety and exposure levels for personnel on site, and odor control. Contaminants included lead, arsenic, mercury, barium, crude oil, and various refined compounds including gasoline, mercaptans, and phenols.

Demolition oversite of United Technology Corporation site in San Jose, Ca. Also managed several pipeline and structural additions to Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority Bus/Rail yards.

Have extensive experience in both the field during grading activities and in the laboratory analyzing soil properties for several clients located in Fontana, San Bernardino, Lancaster, Pacoima, and Palm Springs, Ca and several other locations. Have knowledge of all techniques of field testing including: Sand Cone, Knocker bar, as well as other testing techniques. Laboratory experience includes compaction, shear, moisture content, and others.

Field manager for several Phase II investigation including but not limited to groundwater monitoring well abandonment and installation, hydropunch sampling, soil-gas survey, explosive gas survey, and soil/groundwater/soil-gas sampling. Performed data analysis for an industrial park constructed above an abandoned municipal landfill in Seattle, Washington involving methane, chlorinated solvent, and petroleum hydrocarbon contamination

Involved with emergency response and hazardous clean up on three projects, they include a jet fuel spill in Ontario, CA, and a oil line spill in Long Beach, CA, and an Explosive event at a site in San Jose, CA. His duties included: characterization and containment of hazardous materials, remediation plans, and clean up and confirmatory sampling coordination.
