Attend weekly HSSE meeting.

Liaise and report site conditions that may affect the performance of my duties. Conduct safety audit and inspection as directed by the HSSE Management. Assist in ensuring a Goal Zero Incident and Injury free environment at the work areas. Coordinate all aspects of implementation of the Permit-to-work system for all contractors, to assure IIF

( Incident-Injury-Free ).

Carry out gas testing and ensuring the safety requirement are convened. Monitor Life Saving Rule violations and intervene. Checking the calibration date, battery life, sample probes, attachments, diffuser head and any other visible damage on the equipment.

Awareness of the effects of temperature, stagnant or flowing air patterns around work site, sludge that may contain trapped pockets of gas.

Carrying out gas tests at the frequency and type as instructed as per permit requirement. Coordinate with Operation/Maintenance, Contractors and Subs to ensure they are aware of any operating conditions in the area, which may affect their work. Monitoring of any changes in wind direction, operational activities, vents, leaks, spills, drainage system incidents and simultaneous operations (SIMOP ) that may impact on the safety of the job and personnel.

Implement stop work procedure and instruct personnel to withdraw at any time when any gas test or other condition indicates it is unsafe condition.

Ensure work does not restart after any incident.

Monitoring of permit compliance as prescribed on the permit to work document. Ensured zero accidents onsite while managing and accounting of personnel during emergency preparedness.

Established positive communication channels with project leaders, supervisors and workers on a daily basis.

Inspects equipment’s at job sites such as breathing apparatus, fire extinguisher, Advise contractor and provides technical information if necessary to aid the contractor in meeting Loss Prevention requirements.
