PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

SENIOR ENGINEER, LENDINGTREE.COM, CHARLOTTE, NC 2015-Present LendingTree.com is a leading online loan marketplace with one of the largest networks of lenders in the nation. With nearly 2 million users, LendingTree submits tens of thousands of loan referrals daily. LendingTree has approximately 500 employees and is headquartered in Charlotte, NC.

Principle accomplishments include:

Architected and implemented a micro-service architecture for enterprise-level use. Designed C# RESTful APIs to manage incoming and outgoing Call Center calls eliminating an error-prone, batch-based system allowing real-time data capture and immediate analysis and data consumption.

Responsible for integrating “special-case” lenders (API calls, OpenID/OAuth, input/output format transformations, etc.)

Designed customer-facing web forms using Angular.js.

Led cross-team troubleshooting efforts across the LendingTree code repository preventing revenue loss of over $8M annually.

Led initial DevOps efforts at LendingTree by performing a detailed dependency analysis of the entire code base, making recommendations for inventory/dependency automation, and authoring policies for commits that affect dependencies in the code base. Principle accomplishments include:

Product owner and principle architect for enterprise-wide program management application. Responsible for engineering team leadership, timely product releases, requirements gathering, documentation, design (front-end, middle-tier, database), testing, and deployment.

Principle engineer for innovative material management application (WinForms and ASP.NET in C#) for KLA-Tencor’s largest product division. By modeling the engineering design and procurement processes, the application successfully managed over 100K parts/subassemblies and $10M in inventory. Designed APIs (SOAP, OData) to interface with various enterprise procurement systems (SAP, eReq). Wrote innovative optimization algorithms to identify procurement deadlines and suitability of material inventory for rapidly changing product designs.

As engineer “on loan” to the WaferSight 2+ product team, completely redesigned legacy code for critical subsystem in C++. Designed several applications (C# WPF and ASP.NET) to support management and comparison of encrypted XML configuration files including interop libraries.

Project manager for annual engineering conference. Responsible for all details of technical content, operations, and budgeting. Required regular briefings for executives.

Regularly participate in software design reviews (Concept, Requirements, Detailed, Final).
