PROJECTS
Design of Subsea field layout- Houston-TX Aug 2015 – December 2015
Designed Subsea Well routing and pipelines from production tubing to the reservoir.
Calculated optimal diameter by trading off between pressure drop and erosion rate.
Safeguard the system from wax formation, and hydrate formation using chemical injection.
Designed water injection system to maintain required reservoir pressure. Designed gas lift system for initiation of oil flow.
CFD analysis of Turbulent flow over Surface mounted object January 2016 – May 2016
Analyzed Incompressible, Steady, flow over surface mounted object for Laminar and Turbulent flow using Ansys Fluent code.
Structured and unstructured grid was tried and tested for both Laminar and Turbulent flow.
Developed computational model to predict length of recirculation, Pressure distribution, Velocity profile for the Laminar flow.
Different modifications of K-epsilon turbulence model was used to carry out simulations. Predicted Length of reattachment and Velocity profile for the turbulent flow.
