I have extensive experience in customer service, both in person in a retail setting, and as a telephone operator in a call center environment. Sygma Illinois is a logistics end of Sysco Foods, Inc. I began employment at Sygma Illinois as a Customer Service Representative. My primary responsibility was to print and audit invoices and loadcaps, for all outbound loads and then delivering them to transportation. I also assisted customers over the phone with their orders, general inquiries, and claims.

I moved to the Receiving department after cutbacks in Customer Service were initiated. As a Receiving Clerk, I am responsible for the following:

Driver Check-in procedures and dock door assignments for all inbound loads.

Communications with drivers, warehouse management and personnel, buyers, and carriers via multi-line phone system, CB, Callbox, and email.

The verification of Bill-of-Lading through invoices, packing lists, weight manifests, and temptale analysis as compared to product actually ordered is a critical part of my job.

HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) protocols and temperature monitoring and recording of all potentially hazardous foods.

End-of-shift reports, emails, document requests, and purchase order closing are other duties.

As a Finisher, I was responsible for the following:

Filling / icing donuts, pastries, cookies, and other desserts according to facility quotas and specialty orders.
