As Quality Manager I developed Shot Peening Techniques and maintained a NADCAP/ISO accredited QSM that was also AS9100 compliant. Developed Chemical Processing procedures and controls. I also assured all customer requirements were implemented and maintained.

As an NAS410 and former ASNT certified Magnetic

Particle/Liquid Penetrant Level III in a NADCAP accredited NDT Department and Chemical Processing. I was responsible for developing and maintaining all procedures, training and testing of NDT/Chemical Processing personnel along with assuring compliance with all customer requirements for all processes. During my short time I was responsible for the Quality Department and NDT Department (4 individiuals). I also was responsible for the development of PMA procedures and manufacturing and tooling. I also created the CNC programs for repairs and PMA manufacturing by use of CAD Cam software. I performed all phases of the inspection process involved in the Repair and Overhaul of ACM’s, Generators, and various other assemblies for the 737 through 777 series along with the MD series, A300, and DC series aircraft. I was a FAA Certified Repairman.

As Level lll I was responsible for all the NDT procedures, training, and testing for the Magnetic Particle / Liquid Penetrant Departments.

I was responsible for the Quality Department and NTD Department (3 individuals). As part of my responsibilities I was implementing our internal procedures and controls with the target of AS, TS, NADCAP Accreditations. I worked in a surface finishing environment with Electroless Nickel Plating and Passivation as our main processing. I was performing the chemical testing, visual inspections, procedure creation and implementation. I also processed 1 2 of the receiving and shipping paperwork. Chief Inspector / Liquid Penetrant NDT Level III

I was responsible for the Quality Control Department (6 individuals) and 2nd in charge of the Quality Assurance Department. I worked in an accredited AS9100 / NADCAP environment. I supervised and performed dimensional inspections utilizing 4 different CMM’s (Zeiss Eclipse, DEA, Mitutoyo, and Brown & Sharp) and Ziess Calypso, QC 5000, CMM Manager, Geo 2000 software for creating programs for them and all standard inspection tools and developing procedures for our Quality Systems. I have developed, implemented, and maintain Intranet applications to improve our informational data utilizing Microsoft Access, SQL Server, and web technology. The main products we fabricate are Honeywell T55 and Longbow components along with Pratt & Whitney (Canada and Hartford) pressure seal rings.

I supervised the Penetrant Testing area and performed all duties as specified in NAS 410 as Ambel’s Responsible Level lll and was a Honeywell / Pratt & Whitey / Sikorsky approved Level lll. I was responsible for the Inspection Department (3 individuals). I also performed all types of dimensional inspections by use of all standard measuring tools (Mics, Height Gages, Indicators including 2 different types of CMM’s (Mitutoyo and Zeiss).

I was an approved FAA Repairman.

As Level lll I was responsible for all the NDT procedures, training, and testing for the Liquid Penetrant Department.

The primary components repaired/overhauled were Honeywell TPE 331, T55, T53, Rolls Royce A250, G.E. CT 58 engines, and various other aircraft engine components that included the engine hot section and rotating group.

Inspector Class A / Magnetic Particle & Liquid Penetrant Level III

As Level lll I was responsible for all the NDT procedures, training, and testing for the Magentic Particle / Liquid Penetrant Department.

I also performed dimensional inspections in the Receiving, Inprocess, First Article, and Final Inspection areas.

I was also Assistant Supervisor for the dimension inspection department (18 individuals) and received TQM and SPC training. As part of TQM I was the elected facilitator for the work cell concept that initiated throughout the shop. My duties were to schedule meetings between the work cells and the company president and vice president, brainstorming sessions, and work cell meetings. I also was the overseer for the work and brainstorming sessions to assure they stayed focused and on track with the agenda.

I have performed Network Administration duties on a backup basis and have designed / maintained Database Applications for data control of AS9100 and NADCAP Quality / NDT systems.

I was trained from the beginning of my career in teamwork concepts and am a firm believer in it.

I consider myself to be an old fashioned professional Quality Representative at any level be it Management or lower.
