Responsible for the full stack implementation of the analytics subsystem in Backtory, a Mobile-Backend-as-a-Service

(MBaaS) product targeted at Iranian users, that was based on Java using Spring Framework and MongoDB. Projects

Predicting Year and Genre of a Music, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Spring 2015. Implemented a system which can predict the year and genre of a music. Developed experience in the led of Machine Learning using di erent supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms on the Million Song Dataset (MSD).

NAT Traversal Solution Implemented in Java, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Fall 2015. Worked in a group of three, implemented the UDP Hole Punching technique to establish a peer to peer communication between two private nodes behind two di erent NATs.

Blur Pixel Removal from Images Implemented in MATLAB, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Fall 2014. Improved digital images quality by removing blur pixels. Using blob detection and texture synthesis algorithm, found and replaced blur pixels which appeared in images due to the dust on camera lens. Image quality improved after replacing blur pixels.

Sentiment Analysis Software Implementation, Sharif University of Technology, Spring 2014. Worked in a group of two, developed a Sentiment Analysis Software to analyze users feedback on smartphones. Used Nutch Search Engine to crawl web and collect users’ feedback on Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy Ace, Sony Xperia L, Sony Xperia Z1. Analyzed feedback and extracted users’ most desired feature for each product.

Book Sharing Application Implementation, Sharif University of Technology, Spring 2013. Worked in a group of three, designed and prototyped a web-based book sharing application. Used Expression Blend Tool to re-design and improve the prototype by utilizing users feedback to persuade them to join the application and use it.
