Technical Project Manager
•Act as the liaison between the application and Infrastructure teams to process all requests that relate to ordering of new HW/SW requests, obtaining new IP addresses, documentation of specific fire wall rules, etc… for all new and existing projects that are based upon application requirements specifications.
•Submit Operational Level Requests (OLA) for the purchase of HW/SW or additional storage space, as requested by the application owners.
•Create documentation that gives a complete design of the application environment to be setup.
•Monitor the project and estimate completion times based upon requirements and notify management of any delays in completion of project.

Disaster Recovery Project Manager

Project Manager – Global Disaster Recovery (2007 – 2010)
Provide leadership for all aspects of the implementation of Disaster Recovery solutions for critical global applications, including development of Technical Disaster Recovery Plan matrixes. Leverage UNIX expertise on all activities performed on servers during off-site location testing and failover testing as well, including server rebuilds, file system creation utilizing VERITAS and data restoration.

•Reduced recovery time and saved significant disaster recovery costs through restoration of UNIX servers using SUN flash recovery.
•Maximized on-site personnel during application testing to increase efficiencies and reduce costs while ensuring successful testing.

Project Manager – Global Support (2005 – 2007)
Directed multiple concurrent projects, including DST Patch implementation for Daylight Savings Time, implementation of SSH packages on UNIX platforms and the addition of SUDO package to servers. Lead a talented group of IT professionals in support of various business units. I established good working relationships with internal Data Protection team and in addition to multiple outside vendors.

•Reduced footprint space for hardware and software costs within datacenter
•Oversaw the management approval process for Non Standard account implementation and server remediation using CMDB which is a database that contains all relevant information about the components of the information system used within an organization's IT services and the relationships between those components.
•Implementation of all Solaris OS upgrades along with latest patch installations for all UNIX servers twice a year. All changes implemented through our Change Management request process. Investigated, supported and worked on audit remediation issues for validated hardware/software applications globally.
•Provided expertise as UNIX lead in collaboration with Data Protection Team, including restoration of OS using flash archive recovery for all aspects of disaster recovery testing.
•Ensured compatibility with UNIX environment in testing of third party software.
•Created a comprehensive Disaster Recovery program using key elements such as Critical Application Assessments, Backup Procedures, Recovery Procedures, Implementation Procedures, Testing Procedures and Plan Maintenance moving forward.
Senior System Administrator (Modis Solutions) (2000 – 2005)
Performing project lifecycles and operational support for UNIX servers within Sales and Marketing function. I was responsible for overseeing hardware/software installations while providing high-level customer service and training within the organization. I orchestrated the development of Working Instruction documentation for all tasks involving third party software and package installations.
Selected Achievements:
•Advised systems analysts and served as Project Lead on all projects throughout the CIT organization, reducing costs by facilitating all training in-house, server consolidation, data center migrations, operating system (OS) upgrades.
•Leveraged expertise in handling all escalations serving as Senior Technical Lead.
•Developed and implemented all Disaster Recovery processes and procedures that were used for all Disaster Recovery off site testing.

Paine Webber, Senior System Administrator. Served as SME doing root cause analysis in addition to providing HW/SW support for both production and development SUN servers.
Prudential - Senior System Administrator, Enhanced existing UNIX engineering standards, supported all new project installations and directed various Y2K initiatives, including UNIX server upgrades with the latest Solaris OS. Provided technical leadership and support for a data center migration to new co-location for over 75 business critical application servers.
AT&T - System Administrator, Performed functions as a UNIX System Administrator utilizing Solaris 2.5 and 2.5.1 on multiple SUN hardware types. Ensured Y2K compliance on projects designed to upgrade all Sun Solaris machines.
