Responsible for managing a FIDIC re-measured contract for the rehabilitation of a Cable-Stayed Bridge over Danube River in Agigea, Constanţa. The work includes the installation of temporary stay-cables, the removal of existing cables and installation of new stay-cables, complete rehabilitation of the bridge deck and approach roadways including; waterproofing, pavement, drainage, guardrail etc. Duties include; contract supervision, review and approve shop drawings, review and approve method statements, oversee the day-to-day supervision of the Contractor’s road and utility works including all paving operations and sampling and testing of all layers of pavement structure, and ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with the specifications and drawings. Also responsible for all aspects of contract administration including; planning, finalization of project parameters, scheduling, monitoring and project controls; review Contractor’s claims for validity and prepare responses to RNCMNR. Statewide High Hazard Intersections / Ramps Contract 2 – Newport County Client: Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) Providence, Rhode Island, USA DECEMBER 2005 – JUNE 2008
The scope included a preliminary phase and a final design phase. During the preliminary phase the intersections were analyzed to determine both short term and long term solutions to reducing accidents at these locations. During the study phase accident data was reviewed, the geometry of the intersection was analyzed, traffic counts were collected, and a capacity analysis was performed. Based on the results of this information short term and long term improvements were recommended. A cost benefit analysis was prepared for the long term solution selected. Based on our recommendations and RIDOT’s concurrence, several of the intersections were advanced to final design. During final design, construction drawings, specifications and a cost estimate were developed for advertising the project for construction.

Responsible for design and construction staging / constructability element of a $350 million project built in four construction packages. The project involved the planning, design and construction of one of the most complex interchanges on the Central Artery / Tunnel project
The work required interfacing with five active adjacent contracts, coordination with the Railroad on the erection of concrete segmental and steel box girder viaducts over electrified tracks for high speed train. The planning of all construction activities while maintaining existing traffic in a heavily traveled downtown Boston.
Duties included supervision and directing staff engineers and technical draftsmen on the preparation of contract drawings, specifications and estimates for the civil design of all the permanent and temporary roadways for this complex interchange. Worked directly with MTA and the Management Consultant Bechtel/Parsons Brinckerhoff (B/PB) on the development of construction staging and traffic management plans for this interchange.
Engineering disciplines required for the project included civil, mechanical (pump station and fire standpipe), electrical (power substations, lighting, high mast lighting, conduits), and highway and landscape architecture
