Stewart Title Insurance Company New York, N.Y.
Commercial Title Insurance Salesman (2001 2010; Independent 2010 - 2014). Closed the largest
transaction in the company s 100 year history in 2006. I represented the lead title company out of the five

multi-site, highly complicated deal. My position here at Stewart title is as an independent local and nation

First American Title Insurance Company of N.Y. New York, N.Y.
Senior Vice President (1997-2001). Transitioned from residential title insurance to commercial title
insurance. This was my first experience working as a commercial title insurance salesman in New York
City. Within a short period of time, I was successful breaking into white shoe law firms, REITS,
management companies and commercial banks. Through networking I began building strong relationships
with real estate brokers as well. Going into commercial title insurance was the best thing I could do to
triple my sales premium and income.
Liberty Abstract Corporation White Plains, N.Y.
Principal (1993-1997). Opened my own residential title insurance agency. Trained and managed sales
force of five plus did a lot of the sales premiums myself since I had developed a large residential book of
business from my ten years in the title insurance business. Managed my staff to expand our geographic
region from Westchester all the way up to and including Putnam, Orange, Rockland and Bronx counties
in New York. I developed a very aggressive, hard working sales force. Our clients were banks, mortgage
brokers, law firms and single practitioners. We grew rapidly, writing well over $1,000,000 per year in
premium and doing 2000 residential transactions per year. I sold my agency in 1997 to transfer into the
Commercial title insurance business in Manhattan.
First American Title Insurance Company of N.Y. White Plains N.Y.
Vice President / Sales Manager (1983-1993). My first job selling residential title insurance. I made cold
calls with little to no business connections. Within two years I went from zero premium dollars to
$500,000 premium dollars in sales. By 1986, the President of First American offered me the opportunity
to hire, train and manage a growing sales force. I hired five talented self-starters and together we were a
strong team and increased the premium dollars to $2,000,000.
