Project: Client Money Reporting on Statement and Valuations

The aim of this project was to report client money held by Fidelity on the behalf of client on the periodic regular S&V letters as per FCA regulations.

Modified report programs to send client consolidated holdings and deal transactions details.

New jobs (ETL) were created to receive AutoRek monthly client money feed on GFAS staging area and from GFAS staging area to S&V application on GFAS.

Created a NEP to receive trigger from AUTOREK to start GFAS bank reconciliation.

Send the in-scope ledger feed from GFAS (AS400 based fund management system) to AUTOREK by SFTP

Developed functionality to reconcile Ledgers by GFAS thereby eliminating manual reconciliation process.

Project: U.K. Pricing

The scope of the project was to make FIL system complaint with the FCA regulations i.e. both PI and FNW businesses of Fidelity need to levy a separate service fee to client if any new investment is made to clean share classes.

The project was implemented in time box framework using Agile methodology.
