Summary
My passion’s focus is in the world of biology; mainly microbiology. I have completed all of the undergraduate microbiology courses offered at the University of Colorado Denver. Additionally, I have been granted the opportunity to take graduate level microbiology courses. I have acted as a mentor to other undergraduate students pursuing the same course of study. I have also been given a teaching assistant position in the biology labs due to recognition of my grasp for biological concepts. I have spent many hours in a microbiology lab learning several different techniques and building relationships with the professors and graduate students to further my own personal knowledge of microbiology. I feel fortunate to have created relationships enabling me to obtain a strong foundation in the study of microbiology, I am confident these experiences will further my future success in this field of study.
