I am seeking a challenging and fast paced environment where I can utilise my business abilities and further develop my career. Firstly, looking to remain in a senior management role with a strong sales/business development focus. I have proven experience in all key areas of business from operations to finance and believe these transferable skills would benefit any organisation. Twenty year’s experience within national and international business communities, specialising in Engineering and Construction markets. During the last 6 years of my career I have been involved in starting up and running my own business. I have well established relationships across a diverse range of market sectors. In this role I identify areas of sales growth, key account management and streamline business processes. I work directly with business owners and Managing Directors nationally.

Position: Business Owner
Company: First Plasma Profiles
First Plasma Profiles manufactured bespoke metal components to customer’s specification.
This was a business start up with turnover of £1.9 million in last financial trading year. In this role I was responsible for expediting capital equipment up to the value of £260k. Negotiated maintenance contracts and service level agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
Full P&L and financial responsibility for a national organisation supplying products into various market sectors including Construction, Transport, Electronics, Processing, Oil and Gas, MOD and Local Authority
Staff responsibility for up to 18 members of staff, at start up was initially one, which encompassed; Senior Management, Sales, Production/Transport and Office/Accounts Development of new product line and sales strategy
Strengthening the company profile within Europe, Scandinavia and Africa

Position: Sales Executive
Employed as sales executive, within a busy sales office I was responsible for managing allocated accounts, within the Aluminium team. My responsibilities included Administration within the team, developing existing accounts so as to maximise profit using various sales techniques and “cold calling” to increase the customer base.
During my time within this company I learned the value of teamwork and team responsibility. I left for a new opportunity to develop my career.

Position: Trainee Sales Executive
I was employed as a trainee sales person, with duties including, administration, telephone sales, and basic account management.
During my time here I went on several courses, to improve my sales technique and product knowledge. After my training was complete I was proficient in all aspects of metal sales and became a valuable member of staff.
