oCode new parts, write/verify technical part descriptions for completeness and accuracy and ensure consistency for ease of researching and identifying parts within the specification system.

oResponsible for error free documentation and conformance to client drafting & parts design standards

oWrite clear and accurate ECR/ECO descriptions, detailing the equipment changes, the reason for change and the impact on inventory, following through with updating the specifications per the ECR/ECO.

oResponsible for reviewing Engineering Change Notifications. Prioritizing, assigning, and implementing them in the change process

oCheck, verify and analyze in-line equipment changes for accuracy, consistency, and overall impact and make Engineering Change Board Review decision using technical information and professional judgment.

oWork closely with engineering, manufacturing, and other functions to ensure effective and timely implementation of ECNS and ECOs and related documentation

oUse technical information, system experience and professional judgment to provide input/suggestions that would aid in streamlining the current Spec processes and the specification system.

oEvaluate or implement design or manufacturing deviation requests from supplier/manufacturer with support from other functions

oLiaison between engineering and operations, contract manufacturers, technical support, and Outsource Partner

oManage drafting priorities for our offshore team

oSound knowledge on conventional and Non-Conventional machining processes.

oBasic Knowledge on Press Tools, Plastic Molds, Jigs and Fixture.

oBasic Knowledge on GD&T, Value Engineering and DFMA.
