Give design reviews as needed to ensure quality of design.

Maintains and follows all relevant engineering standards in the design of parts and systems.

Maintains Computer Aided Design (CAD) files in accordance with company procedures and standards. Process Engineering Change Notices (ECN) as need.

Executes design tasks in a thorough and timely manner. Responsible for time management and completion of assignments.

Works with prototyping vendors to create prototypes of the designs.

Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) principles & tolerance stacks.

Technical review for Manufacturing and assembly feasibility check of Machined parts and assemblies, Welded/structural parts assemblies, frames and Tubes assemblies.

A.) Design request based on requirement- “Rapid Handler Frame &its Assembly”

Design new frame weldment assembly for placing Transporter & Pre-Aligner.

Designed new enclosure & frame assembly parts in order to accommodate the electronic components inside the chamber without physical and electromagnetic interference using Pro-E and Windchill Intralink PDM.

Created manufacturing drawing for sheet metal clamps and brackets as per customer standards.

B.) New Design release for Wafer Alignment inTesting Process-“ RLS Tooling Theta Jig”

Designed new frames and holders for horizontal align of sensors and camera with respect to wafer testing.

Reduction of the wall thickness of end covers from 2.5mm to 2mm there by without affecting the Shell thickness of 2.5mm with consideration in Burst test.

Creating the Supplier drawing as per production process and standards.

Hose Connector Creating the new proposal connector braze on nipples with and without O-ring sealing having cone angle 30 and 60 degree as per ISO-8434 for hose fittings.

Palm Coupling (Trailer Control

Valve)

Eliminating the lock plate mating position to Zero from 3.5mm to mate the ISO complaint trailer coupling.

Drying and Distribution Unit Converting the DDU body from existing GDC to PDC casting and attained 20% material reduction.

Spring Brake Actuator (SBA)

Developing new SBA with 30/24 for European customer Kamaz. New Flange proposal with Pressure Die Casting to maintain 30 Sqinch in Service side and 24 Sqinch in Spring side. Role and Responsibilities:

Creating GA and Sectional drawings.

Individual part drawing creation from the top level assembly design.

Design changes on the existing products and all downstream parts.

PLM (Enovia) submission activities.

Drawing self-checking to ensure the scope inputs.

Drawing updates for the manufacturing feasibility issues.

PLM migration process from local server to global server (Enovia).

Generation of DMU and DXF of finalized assemblies/Parts for onsite manufacturing site.
