I have 8 years experience welding and fabricating with thin sheet metal, thin wall tubing, and pipe welding. At the moment I am attending welding school to learn the skills I need to become a combo welding specialist.

Authorized to work in the US for any employer

Phoenix Retail Group - Hiram, GA - June 2016 to November 2016 We install walk in coolers from the ground up and all decor and shelving for the food aisles. Tool fabricator

Red Back Drilling - Humble, TX - November 2015 to January 2016 When the driller heads return from the offshore rigs I would unload them off the trucks using a fork lift. Then I would fill out the proper documents necessary for inventory. I would then power wash the body to remove all the dry mud and any debris left on them. TIG Welder

Garlock Sealing Technologies LLC - Houston, TX - June 2010 to June 2014 My responsibilities were to would build heat exchangers from raw sheet metal. Cut sheet metal to proper size then run it through a die machine to form the side walls to lay the liner in. Then lay out the design by following the blueprint measurements. I would then use a caliper and a tape measure to get it as close or exactly to the drawing. Instrument Technician/TIG Welder

Smart Sensors Inc - Houston, TX - June 2008 to August 2009 My responsibilities were to receive and look over my work orders before starting on them. I would then pull the material needed for each job and fill out the proper documents for inventory records. I would then take the material usually thin wall tubing install 2 to 4 wires pack it with magnesium oxide, fuse the wires at one end and weld a cap on it. Then take the wires and test them with a multimeter at the other end then attach an electronic reader to the wellhead and terminate the wires in the head. Then test the probes (thermocouples) in boiling water to make sure moisture has not seeped into the probe and cause a false reading. With the multimeter I'm able to make sure the connections are good and that they are making contact and working properly.

Instrument Technician/TIG Welder

Wika Instrument Corporation - Deer Park, TX - May 2006 to May 2008 My responsibilities were to take work orders and read over them and make sure that everything on the work order was correct first. Then get the correct materials needed for that job, wires, magnesium oxide, silver solder and welding rod. Then If the work order ask for thin wall tubing and a certain kind of metal I would pull it from inventory and fill out the proper documents to do so. I would then pull the wires through the tubing and pack the tubing with(MgO) magnesium oxide. Then pair up the wires using a voltage meter and fuse the pairs with either using silver solder or TIG welding process. After the fusing process I would insulate the junctions with magnesium oxide so they don't short out against the walls of the tubing. Then place the thermocouple in a copper block to place a cap on the end of the probe then sand the tip to a round finish and test the thermocouple to make sure it works properly. Electrician
