INDUSTRIAS CORPAÑAL: leader manufacture of baby and adult diapers, sanitary napkins, cosmetics for babies, cotton swabs and the largest producer of wet wipes in Venezuela.

Industrias Corpañal. Logistics Manager (May 13-Present Time): Responsible for managing the storage of raw materials and the dispatch to the production lines, storage of finished products, inventory and endowment of company supplies, distribution centers, resupplying the distribution centers, invoicing and delivery, as well as customer service. Report directly to VP of Supply Chain.

Coordinating, improving and developing the warehouse and manufacture process through the project of implementation of warehouse management system (WMS) and radio frequency identification (RFID).

Optimizing administration and inventory control processes obtaining an average accuracy of 99% in finished products, and 98% in raw materials.

Industrias Corpañal. Manager of Distribution and Customer Service (January 10-May 13): Coordinating the invoicing system (Oracle), resupplying and delivering to and from the distribution center, as well as managing a team of 21 people and a contracted fleet of 60 vehicles.

Leading and planning the execution of the Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) process with the aim of balancing demand and supply.

Reducing the cost per transported box, by optimizing the use of the company’s vehicle fleet productivity increased by 31%, and the fill rate by 15% with an annual saving of $620.000.

Improving the service level and reducing the return rates through the creation of a customer service unit. As a result, returned bulks rates were reduced by 79% and the order delivery cycle was reduced to 5 days.

Reducing shipping costs by applying reverse logistics of expired or obsolete products.

Industrias Corpañal. Operation and Distribution Center Manager (May 06-January 10): In charge of the development and design of the Distribution Center, responsible for creating and implementing the processes and policies of reception, storage, transportation and delivery of 65% of total sales; responsible for the internal processes such as warehousing and invoicing, and responsible of managing the administrative processes of the Distribution Center, HHRR, tax payment, maintenance, and industrial safety. Responsible for all operative process on the strategic alliance with Familia Sancela (SCA) for toilet paper distribution, napkins, kitchen towel and the whole institutional line.

Obtaining an annual effectiveness rate of 96% of the inventory through the application of the Six Sigma methodology and reduction of 27% of the shipping costs.

Reducing to zero third-party logistics (3PL) business and taking the whole operation through the new facility, and saving 15% per transported box.

Optimizing the order delivery cycle and reducing it in 2 days, in regards to the rest of the distribution centers of the company.

Negotiating with a transportation union, obtaining a “gain to gain” deal by developing productivity and incentives.

Increasing level service I by 26% and level service II by 37%.

Developing the logistics indicators.

Industrias Corpañal. Project Engineer (April 04 -May 06): In charge of planning, coordinating and carrying out the mounting and tuning of new Wet Wipes production lines (flow pack) and Panty Liners.

Making of the project survey and feasibility, infrastructure requirements and services, responsible for product design and packing material, procurement and negotiation of the machinery in China, executing the project as per budget and time projected. This investment meant for the company the updating of the existing system and, the positioning in the market as the largest national producer of Wet Wipes.
