-Responsible for the Y2K certification of 20 some application and tool sets
-Assisted in the development of service level agreements for the major claim systems.
-Promoted to Project Manager when allocation module was unable to process within the
financial close timelines, which lead to a new project to create an out of box module that was
at least 2500% faster.
-Team member for integrating the premium and loss accounting systems when CNA
acquired Continental Insurance Companies.
-When promoted to manager in the Premium Loss and Accounting unit, responsible for
daily booking for all premium and claim transactions, and prepared and crosschecked several
pages of the quarterly and annual statements.
-As a member of the Systems Balancing and Controls unit responsible for reviewing new systems
and modifications to existing systems for controls to detect and escalate system out of
balances and suspense items not cleared promptly.
-Developed database conversation and balancing methodology as a member of the team
to rewrite the financial close reporting system.
-Started as a Financial Rotational Development Employee, a Corporate Accounting Management
Training program. Rotated through three different units: first Statutory Reporting; second
Treasury Department; third General Ledger Accounting.
