Provide customers with the timely answers, since the arrival notice is no longer just a courtesy to the customer but an important tool for the Custom’s entry
Track and trace containers (before leaving port of load and after arrival at the port of discharge)

To closely monitor all container under VACIS and intensive Customs examinations, make containers (along with the freight cashier department) available for a delivery to the customers at the port of discharge or to their respective forwarders
Update various spreadsheets in excel pertaining to customer service and vessel schedules
Provide the arrival notice for containers that were arriving on the vessel 24hrs prior to the vessel arriving
Provide detailed information on vessel arrival schedule upon customers request
Handle Oakland exam sites and charge customers for detention charges. Issue invoices, complete spreadsheets and issue TPs.
