EXPERIENCE:
6/14 to Present: Full-time Ministerial Student/Intern: Responsible for all coursework, various religious activities within a local congregation, and logistical support for religious activities.
• Delivered 25 public speeches in the form of liturgies and 10 sermons of approximately 30-40 minutes in length.
• Planned and coordinated volunteers for the set-up and take-down of the church’s weekly meeting space.
• Provided logistical support necessary for church functions, including purchasing food, equipment, and other supplies. 4/12 to 6/14: VIP Military Escort Officer: Planned and executed detailed itineraries and conferences for distinguished visitors including senior military officers, Department of Defense officials, Congressional Delegations, and senior foreign military leaders. Coordinated for air and ground transportation, lodging, meals, and other requirements. Personally accompanied distinguished visitors for the entirety of their visits.
• Planned and executed itineraries for 18 distinguished visitors including the Vice President of the United States and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
• Planned and executed 4 major events and conferences including the Conference of European Armies involving distinguished visitors from over 20 nations.
• Achieved the top rating among 4 Escort Officers. 5/11 to 4/12: Battalion Maintenance Officer: Implemented maintenance program for 176 combat vehicles distributed throughout four locations and for all weapons and equipment necessary for more than 700 soldiers in continuous combat operations in Afghanistan.

5/10 to 5/11: Unit Movement Officer: Planned and executed a program to pack and transport $44 million in battalion equipment and 700 battalion personnel to all training events and combat deployments.
• Planned and executed transportation across Germany to 3 training events.
• Planned and executed the packing and transportation of 120 shipping containers to Afghanistan. 5/10 to 5/11: Assistant Battalion Supply Officer: Implemented a logistics management program for 1,000 soldiers. Assisted and advised the company commanders on matters of supply and property accountability. Oversaw 8 key sustainment contracts as a Contracting Officer Representative. Implemented a battalion safety program as the Battalion Safety Officer.
• Provided all forms of logistical support for 1,000 soldiers distributed across 4 locations.
• Oversaw 8 service contracts totaling $876,000 in annual expenditures with up to 61 Afghan workers.
• Implemented 2 multi-million dollar contracts for the construction of a dining facility and for a professionally managed Afghan security force. 7/09 to 5/10 – Infantry Platoon Leader: Maintained the health, welfare, physical fitness, discipline, and morale of an infantry platoon of 41 soldiers. Implemented a platoon maintenance and accountability program for all platoon property totaling $9.2 million. Planned and executed realistic combat training. Planned for the logistical sustainment of the platoon in all training.
• Planned and executed 6 combat training exercises for approximately 120 soldiers each.
• Managed a command center consisting of approximately 6 officers during the month-long pre-deployment training of the 1st Armored Division Headquarters.
