Bennington, VT Plant
SMX recruits, hires, trains and supervises tier one jobs at the Energizer Plant in Bennington, VT. Responsible for a crew of 100 people on four different battery packing lines at the Bennington facility. Quality assurance and control. Performed payroll, safety, HR, IT duties and managed 100 employees including 5 direct reports.
Asheboro, NC Plant
Transferred to Energizer in Asheboro, NC to take over the account in Plant 2. Responsible for 180 people across 4-7/24 shifts and 3-5/24 shifts in the plant. Main focus to improve quality and production rates in certain key areas. Performed supervisory, payroll, safety, HR, IT duties and managed 180 employees including 7 direct reports. Work in clients SAP to request accounts, pull data for reports and enter production data into system. Use client’s 4-Step methods to report out on accidents and to solve production problems.

Service Engineer
Provided technical service for customers and potential customers. Responsible for felt installations and various technical studies to the paper machine before our product was recommended. Helped customers troubleshoot machine issues and help provide solutions. Assisted in the payment plans for participating mills and ORR Felt Company. Responsible for customer inventories, coordinating current and up-to-date purchase orders were on file, and coordinating the start of new product into production. Performed service to Tissue machines, Cylinder machines and fourdrinier machines. Serviced the fabrics for Filcon Forming Fabrics and Rodewisch Dryer Fabrics as both are affiliated with the ORR Felt Company. My territory included the Northeastern states and Southern Canada.

Supervised 2 Fourdrinier paper machines making text and cover grades. Supervised converting and laminator operation with approximately 60 people on shift at one time. Promoted to acting maintenance supervisor on day shift for last three months of employment.
The Rock-Tenn Company 4/1995 to 6/2000
Boardmill Foreman
Deployed a two-foreman team concept and supervised 2 eight-cylinder board machines, one 136” and one 121”. Wet and dry calendar stacks, 3 pulpers and 2 hydra-purge systems including a combi-sorter. Using DLK, OCC, news, magazine and label stock for furnish. Supervised tour maintenance and assigned daily jobs.

Member of the Divisional Rotating Equipment Safety Team traveling to the six mills in the uncoated division to access and solve safety concerns.
