VSI Project: Estimated the absolute position of an inchworm-type propulsion mechanism by implementing, testing a method that statistically combines the relative displacement of moving parts on the mechanism with absolute inertial measurements.
Failure Analysis: Performed FEA Analysis on a plate for different boundary conditions (Uniform and point load) for certain force acting on the top face of the plate and the maximum deflection and stress which are acting exactly acting at the bottom face of the plate using Salome-Meca.
Performed stress analysis and machine design calculations and simulations on horizontal drill components and frequently manipulated customer CAD models in SolidWorks.
Data Acquisitions: Designed data acquisition system based on commercial-off-the-shelf microcontrollers (Arduino, FPGA) and used Python libraries for Arduino to synchronize Arduino/sensor data with a Python-based controller.

FEA Analysis:
Performed structural optimization and stress analysis on the features of various beam elements to reduce the stress concentration factors using HYPERMESH. The Von-Mises stresses, maximum principal stresses and the displacements are obtained using Hypermesh and HyperView and the results are matched.
