I currently manage the inspecting, packing, and the quality control aspects of our finished fabrics. I schedule my own areas in order to meet the deadlines for shipments and make sure all is in order in a timely manner. As far as inspection is concerned, if there are decisions to be made whether goods are first or second quality, I am the one who makes the call. I am efficient on the data color and make quality decisions regarding shades prior to shipments so that they meet our customers tolerance. I have been responsible for moving the fabric in a timely, quality oriented, and efficient manner. When we were producing 500,000 pounds a week, I
would ensure that we inspected and packed 100,000 pounds per day in order to meet our goals and customer needs. I have also been involved in quality decisions regarding I check the physical lab tests prior to goods being released for shipments to our customers to ensure all are within our customer tolerance.
I maintain records regarding the customer criteria and the point systems we are allowed to ship along with managing the areas I manage.
