• Project Engineer on preliminary study of purchase, reversal, and conversion to products, of a 16”pipeline from Corsicana to Midland and a 16” pipeline from Houston to Wichita Falls enabling company to deliver product to Wichita Falls and Midland areas from Houston.

• Designed and was mechanical Project Engineer on a 16 “products delivery pipeline to Boyer Terminal.

• Performed hydraulic studies using Darcy’s equation, Aude’s equation, the affinity laws, Barlow’s equation, and horsepower calculations.

• Trained and mentored approximately 12 new engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective use of time and skills.

District Engineer 1978-1991

Texas-New Mexico Pipeline Company, Hobbs, New Mexico

• Managed accuracy and completeness of estimates, design drawings, specifications, updating alignment maps, operations and maintenance manuals and DOT files.

• Coordinated preparation of measurement agreements, pipeline crossing agreements, expense and investment budgets for the district.

• Supervised engineer and engineering technicians.

• Monitored pumping rates, detecting errors in power bills, saving $90,000.

• Originated study and reversed two pipeline systems, resulting in two new sources of revenue.

• Started lease connection program. Monitored drilling reports, made contact with producers, secured right-of-way, prepared estimates, obtained crude tests, obtained surveys and completed pipeline lease connections as rapidly as possible. Lease connections increased from less than 2 to approximately 28 per year.

• Programmed and installed three programmable logic controllers, one master and two remotes. Two of these programmable logic controllers (PLCs) were talking to personal computers which displayed the pipeline graphics.

• Designed and was Electrical Project Engineer on installation of 350 HP electric unit at Lynch Station.

• Study and design for the Delivery of crude to Navajo at Beeson from Maljamar.

• Designed and was Electrical Project Engineer on installation of 500 HP unit at Bisti.

• Designed and was Project Engineer, mechanical and electrical, on installation of 60 HP unit at Lynch to deliver crude oil to Navajo at Beeson.

• Study and design for the Looping of 4" polyethylene Corbin Gathering line with a 6" steel line.
