Worked in a fast paced plant part of the performance polymer division of Mitsubishi Chemicals, and learned to work effectively with union personnel.
Supervised and increased the efficiency, and optimization of several polymer production lines.
Developed DOE, formulations, and process parameters for new and existing products.
Lead role in calculating and monitoring line, and plant efficiency for all production plants in North America.
Member of the continuous safety team and continuous improvement team.
Communicated, negotiated, and influenced customers with concerns, product issues, and product design.
Developed technical reports for new production equipment, product formulations, optimization methods, and analytical results for product issues.
Worked with performance TPE, TPV, EPDM, PVC, and specialty polyolefin materials for the automotive, food and drug industries, and consumer products.
Assist with the development and optimization of processing and formulations for other plants within the performance polymers division.
Designed twin screw extrusion profiles, to increase production efficiency and for product development.
ENGINEERING INTERNSHIP- AMERICHEM January 2013- April 2015
Worked on and designed mechanical systems such as extruders, pumps, mixers, dryers, and injection molders.
Researched and developed a bio-composite material, while working simultaneously with a partner company.
Develop technical reports for R&D, production, and safety issues.
Member of the safety team, and implemented a new safety device to be used within the plant.
Worked in process engineering, product development, and research and design, giving me many opportunities to learn and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
