QUALIFICATIONS
• Assist senior principle engineer in proposals.
• Provide CSE supports during P&ID development. In addition, provide inputs to other disciplines as needed.
• Calculate, specify, and select appropriate various types of field instruments such as control valves, flow elements, transmitters, pressure/ level gauges, vibration monitoring systems, complex analyzers.
• Check and approve instrument loop diagrams, location plans.
• Participate in HAZOP meetings.
• Review/ approve Cause and Effect diagrams.
• Prepare inquiry and purchase requisition packages.
• Approve technical bid evaluations for instrumentation, bulk materials and subcontracts with Procurement Department.
• Review and approve vendor drawings.
• Proficient with SPI in generating instrument data sheets, I/O list, instrument index, alarm summary.
• Proficient in using Documentum where documents are filed for submittal, review, and approval.
• Prepare/ review engineering and design status reports, work plans and man-hour estimate.
• Provide technical support during commissioning at site.
• Familiar with engineering standards ISA, ASTM, NAMUR, ASMI, NEMA, IEC.
• Visit Supplier facilities to inspect equipment for spec compliance.
• Able to work closely with engineers, designers, and drafters to ensure timely completion of the work scope. Have been a CSE lead engineer in the last 9 years at KBR.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
