The project included concept parting surface development of a plastic part supplied by the customer. Project involved separation of component surfaces like ISM (core side surfaces), OSM (cavity side surfaces), and Identifying lifter and slider areas, according developing parting surfaces. Drafts needed on walls at all places as it gives better shutoff condition. Finally vents and relief are added all around the component. Responsibilities include Feasibility study, work co-ordination with customer from India offshore, issue resolving, final checking and data delivery to customer.
