Preparation of SOR for design & development of seating system as per product definition given by product planning team in line with QFD.

Review of design given by supplier with other CFT members to resolve issue related to DMU & get resolved the issue.

Co-ordination with supplier for proto tryouts of Seats with Vehicle Builds for different phases of program.

Testing & validation of seats by in house and supplier.

Interaction with other interface departments for design changes.

Prepare vehicle level & component level DFMEA & DVP with CFT (Cross Functional Team).

Tracking of testing activity & ensure completion of homologation test report i.e. SDL & PSL report.

Giving ideas for VA/VE or continuous improvements proposal to Supplier (Lear)

Making of proto sample from supplier and Shown to Sr. Management, Marketing

& Styling team.

The project included concept parting surface development of a plastic part supplied by the customer. Project involved separation of component surfaces like ISM (core side surfaces), OSM (cavity side surfaces), and Identifying lifter and slider areas, according developing parting surfaces. Drafts needed on walls at all places as it gives better shutoff condition. Finally vents and relief are added all around the component. Responsibilities include Feasibility study, work co-ordination with customer from India offshore, issue resolving, final checking and data delivery to customer.
