Position -- Senior Technician -- Commissioning (CPF-1 & power plant)

Ensure all activities are performed safely and also required quality manner, within relevant regulatory and company requirements and in accordance with HSE standards.

Supervises, coordinates and oversees all commissioning activities of all major projects in order to identify and benchmark key production efficiency measures.

Alignment checking, reviewing inter & layout drawings, P&ID’s prior to punch listing & clearing of punch items.

Testing of various transformers WR, IR, PI, Impedance, MP test, vector group, core balance, Magnetizing curve test, BDV & sensitivity, stability test with restricted earth fault and earth fault relay(up to 20MVA).

Conduct pre-energisation check of MV/LV 3 phase Induction and Synchronous motors(up to 4600KW) including WR & IR testing, DC Hi-Pot test, air-gap test, phase rotation test, no load & load run test.

Testing of breakers open & closing timing, conduct resistance (in micro ohms) & trip test by Secondary and Primary Injection for such as VCB, ACB, MCCB & MCB.

Commissioning & start up of gas turbine (STG- 400), IAC unit, N2 unit, BSDG, PMCC, SMCC & auxiliary systems.

Testing and inspection of bus duct and bus bar assembly including conduct resistance test, milli volt drop test, torque test & alignment of bus bar conductor.

Check the communication between EMCS (Electrical Monitoring Control System) to DCS, switchgear, MCC motors, relays, cubicles, marshalling cabinets and electrical miscellaneous equipments alarm, indications.

Planned and implemented maintenance schedules (routine, corrective, preventive & predictive and turnaround) of various electrical equipments and enhanced machine up time and equipment reliability as well as optimum output.
