Served as a research assistant, in charge of conducting research, which involved mapping basalt flows in the Mesa Falls to confirm their origination and age in the Yellowstone Plateau.
Handled the classification of various basalt flows from appearance, size, mineral content, and paleomagnetism.
Significantly contributed in discovering two new basalt flows.
Title of Project: Field Camp Geology Date: 2015
Carried out the creation of a geologic map of an assigned area by plotting faults and folds, strike and dip of rocks, as well as various formations.
