CAS Firewall:

The CAS Firewall project deals with restricting access to card data for insourced and outsourced cards for various transactions. For own card members support information will be displayed whereas for other card members support information will be suppressed and toll free number will be displayed. Within the insourced cards itself there are various grouping and each group members cannot access their data each other or perform any transactions.

Responsibilities:

This project deals with issuing a wide range of cards and travelers checks to suit the needs of the elite clients. The INDICAS project deals with the customer payments at service establishments using the credit card. When the user swipes his credit card at merchant, the request comes to an application where the decision is taken like approved/Pend/Denied. The application is developed in .Net. This project involves SIT testing related to the credit card requests and Connectivity testing related to data transferring between applications upon request.

Responsibilities:

Involved in preparation and review of Test scenarios/Test Cases design /Test data for various types of testings performed.

ICD10 Testing:

There are many applications which needs to be remediated for the ICD10 changes. One of them is the clinical applications, where there is a major impact for ICD10. The clinical applications like

CAP1, Atlas, and Hum.com and IVR are remediated for ICD10 in different releases. Availity is a third

party application which partners with Humana and was tested for ICD 9 to 10 migrations. CAS is a part of

this system which deals with claims processing. This project involves Preparation of test strategy, test plan, test scenario, test case preparation, test data preparation and execution of the same in web & mainframe applications and in ODS (Operational data store). This project involved various EDI transactions.

Responsibilities:

Requirement Analysis as per the Business Requirements Document (BRD)

Involved in preparation of Test estimation reports, Test strategy, Test Plan and Test Traceability Matrix.

Test cases were designed and test data including XML’s were setup for smoke testing, functional testing, regression testing, system integration testing and adhoc testing.

PDS-5010 Level II Test Assessment:

This project deals with converting their existing messaging 4010 format to the 5010 format and that should be tested. The PDS system has four major applications EPIC (outpatient), Medipac (Inpatient), Home Health (Home Services), and RescueNet (Ambulance Services). The PDS systems communicate majorly with clearing house like Med Asset and Passport, and Payers like United Health Care and PHP. EDI(X12) transactions were used for HIPAA compliance. The project involves impact analysis preparation and test plan and test case creation on various EDI transactions like 837I, P & dental, 835, 276, 277,270, 271 etc.

Tools Used:

iTAP (Integrated Test Accelerated Platform) is a proprietary Tool developed for integrating all the testing activities in one platform. This tool has various features like test data management, test repository, automation, release test selection, regression optimization of test cases, risk based testing, etc.

In this project the Regression Optimization (RO) and Risk Based Testing (RBT) features of iTAPis used for analyzing the existing set of test cases. The available test cases are loaded in iTAP. The impacted components were received from the client. The test cases were optimized for the impacted components using the RO tool in iTAP and the test cases were assigned risk values using the RBT tool in iTAP
