Helical Spring

Reliability Based Design January 2016- May 2016

Designed Helical Spring using SolidWorks and carried out structural analysis and modal analysis to understand various design parameters and its effect on the boundary condition. Used Matlab for functional approximation to find statistical equation of the natural frequency with varying data distribution of design parameters. Lastly, Monte-Carlo Simulation and HL-RF Method was used to find the reliability and optimization of the helical spring. Overall Health Monitoring System(OHMS) Systems Engineering January 2015-April 2015 Utilized various concepts of system engineering-design and practices, to design a real-time overall health monitoring system providing continuous update. This includes conducting Failure Analysis, Risk Analysis, Verification & Traceability Matric, and System Engineering Management Plan.
