Worked with occasional third-party contractors to familiarize them with the company approach, preferences, and procedures

Participated as a member of the department’s Steering Committee to promote consistent and high-quality output. The committee’s work included:

-Developing and maintaining two key documents. Employee Work Topics, which included detail on FSI’s Standard Operating Practices for modeling and TEL FSI’s General Operating Procedures for other items, and General Notes in Txt Files, a series of approximately 500 standardized notes for use in model development

-Reviewing new revisions of modeling software for applicability and impact prior to releasing them into the production environment

-Working to resolve component failures in models


Collaborated with Purchasing and suppliers to meet and maintain ISO 9000 standards

Updated practices, models, and documentation

Identified and replaced obsolete parts with new parts in models or on tools on a quarterly basis
