Accounting and Finance
Developed and implemented accounting system/structure in place for day to day accounting activities
Supervise staff for generating accounts receivable invoices
Supervise staff for entering accounts payable invoices
Manage cash flow
Put together payroll data to send to payroll company and prepared journal entries for payroll
Reconcile bank accounts monthly
Generate month end journal entries
Generate year end financials to be sent to CPA for tax preparation

Issue Subcontracts and Purchase Orders to Vendors
Track project costs for engineering and design build projects
Generate Revenues for various companies using different accounting methods for each
Participate in yearly meetings with attorney and CPA to develop business strategies
Human Resources
Developed and maintain employee file system
Put together new hire employment packages and met with new hires
Maintain cobra letters for all eligible employees
Serve as plan administrator for health insurance, dental insurance, 401K and Section 125 plans including but not limited to entering new employee enrollment information, maintaining payroll deductions for employee portion of withholdings, and serving as liaison between employees and insurance companies
Enter 401K withholding data, approved and maintained 401K loan information and verified employee enrollment or waivers in place
Review insurance policies yearly and work with agent to make decisions on policies going forward
Implemented self funded health insurance plan for the company
Worked with leadership to update employee handbook to cover all current policies
