Organized site meetings, and thereafter prepared minutes of meetings.

Monitored and supervised various soil tests carried out on the Field and Laboratory. Such tests include Insitu density test, Sieve analysis test, Compaction test, Concrete compressive strength, Plasticity test (Liquid limit, plastic limit), Asphalt extraction test, etc.

A good Team player involved in general supervision of Road work, Storm and Foul/Sewer line, Telecommunication, Water supply network and Electricity item of work on service roads like Road 2, Road 3, Road 59, Road 60, Road 69, Road 70 and to mentioned but a few.

Project Manager: Akolis Engineering Limited Keffi, Nasarawa State; Construction of Kofar Kokona Road, Keffi (2010 – 2011).

I managed and supervised properly the following item of work; Ring culverts with head and wing walls, Earthworks, etc.

I ensured that no material is left and wasted on the site.

As a manager, I ensured that the Machine hired in a day completes the job to avoid hiring/paying for extra day. I saved some money for the company.

I prepared reports such as progress of work and also attended site meetings.

Site Engineer: Akolis Engineering Limited Keffi, Nasarawa State; Construction of Kofar Kokona Road, Keffi (2009 – 2010)

A good Team player involved in the supervision of the following item of work such as Earthworks, setting out and excavation of Trapezoidal line drain, mixing and placing of concrete, fixing of BRC wire on line drain, etc.

I also prepared site reports, received and recorded materials brought to the site.

Took measurements of the entire work executed to prepare for Certificate of Valuation.

Internship/Industrial Training: Ministry of Works, Benin City, Edo State; Construction and Reconstruction of existing Roads in Benin Metropolis (May 2007 – October 2007)

I and other Internee took linear measurement of various roads in Benin Metropolis for Rehabilitation and Reconstruction.

I had the opportunity to assist the then Superintended Engineer and participated in the supervision of various site work such as Scarification of existing surface dressed carriageway, Excavation and removal of unsuitable materials, shaping and compaction to receive additional fill, cutting of potholes to rectangular shapes, laying of binder/wearing course to a compacted thickness of 30mm and 50mm respectively, construction of rectangular line drain of 700x700x150mm thick wall, etc.

I also had the opportunity to practice with some surveying instruments like tripod stand, leveling staff, plumb bob, tilting level, measuring tape, etc.

I was thought on the use of software called AutoCAD, and how to prepare the Bill of Engineering Measurement and Evaluation (BEME).

Internship/Industrial Training: Esan West Local Government Council, Ekpoma, Edo State; Design and Maintenance of Buildings and existing roads within Ekpoma Environs (October 2003 – January 2004).

The practical applications of Civil Engineering, Building works and Administrative aspect of the work were introduced.

I was thought the design of Architectural drawings using manual method.

I also delivered, received and documented some letters going out and coming in to the Department.
