Hair stylist
I am responsible for providing hair styles and cuts to our customers. I apply foils, tints and full head colouring. I also book our customers in advance to retain repeat custom. With every customer I display the upmost professionalism and high customer service. My favourite part of this job is the artistic styles with hair ups for weddings and big occasions. I clean the slon as I go to obtain a clean fresh area.

Hair stylist
I was in Australia with a 12 month working visa whilst staying with my family. This job entailed cutting, styling, colouring, hair ups, shampooing and blow dry. I was offered a longer spell however my visa was running out. In this position I also booked in customers and very successfully upsold hair and beauty products adding to a healthy business profit.

Junior/Stylist
This position was split as I qualified to a full stylist whilst here. My duties originally where cleaning the salon, shampooing, taking appointments and making tea/coffee for customers. It advanced to a stylist role including perms, foils cuts and gents cuts too.

As a junior this role was all about learning how a salon worked. Shampooing and drying hair was my first jobs along with booking customers. I cleaned the salon on a daily basis.

Other Experience
On my hairdressing college courses I took optional programmes including scalp treatment, set and dress hair, multiple style combination cuts and general business skills. These included customer service, self professionalism, accessing information, using graphic and number information and planning/ organizational skills.
Interests
I have a young family with my partner Stewart and son Kayson which takes up most of my time. I am very much a family woman and enjoy spending time with my son and partner. When I have free time and not spending it with my family I love relaxing at the beach and shopping. My family are in Queensland and I am very focused on being in Australia to raise my child for a better life.
