I, Hussein Mahmood Hamada, obtained my Master degree in Civil Engineering (BIM implementation requirements), from University Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia in 2017, and my bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Tikrit University (TU) Tikrit, Salahullden, Iraq in 1999.

I have two years of experience working as supervisor of the service buildings in the Gas Turbine power plant in Baiji as well as my Fourteen years of experience working as a supervisor and project manager on the railway construction and build up the new concrete bridges, box culverts along the railway lines in Iraq.

My master thesis was conducted in consultation with Dr. Ahmad Tarmizi bin Haron. In my research, I have developed an implementation requirements in the Iraqi construction firms depending on the development a theoretical framework from the previous studies and developed to the conceptual framework.

My research projects relate to apply the new technology in the construction projects such as (visualization, collaboration, communication, analysis, and simulation to facilitate management of projects by the planners and project managers, thus saving cost and time of project, in addition, to get the high quality of the final product), have published several papers in the journals and conferences. My research interests widely emphasize on the BIM challenges, benefits, applications, and implementation requirements.

I am a staff in the railway company in Iraq. I received my Bachelor in Civil Engineering from the Department of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering, Tikrit University, Tikrit, Iraq in 1999. I received my Master of Science degree from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University Malaysia Pahang Malaysia, Malaysia in 2017. I served as engineer in Baiji Gas Turbine Power Plant, Baiji, Iraq from March 2000 to Jun 2002 and served as Seiner engineer and project manager in Baiji railway station in Iraq from 2002 to 2012. I served as a project manager of building Al-fathaa railway bridge from September, 2012 till June, 2014. I have joined the Iraqi Engineering Union since 1999, Association of Railway company, Iraq since 2002.
