GEORGE JUDD CAREER BIOGRAPHY

SENIOR MANAGEMENT EXECUTIVE

GEORGE’S PERSONAL MOTTO IS: “YOU CAN QUIT IF YOU WANT, AND NO ONE WILL CARE, BUT YOU WILL KNOW THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.” JOHN COLLINS FOUNDER OF THE

Bringing resilient client solutions through incremental or transformational change on a domestic & international level Providing a truly global strategic vision with experience and understanding of the complexities involved are what differentiates George from others. Having worked and led groups in both public and private sector provides an instinctive insight that distinguishes him above other top-level management by his unrelenting focus on quality, quantity and a spirit of service to achieve cooperation from fellow employees, associates, and clients. These attributes have been hallmarks of George’s career. His capacity building and management expertise spans the full range of business functions – strategy, HR, IT, P&L, budgeting/costing, customer service, administration, and legal to management of portfolios. Add to this his, execution of projects and delivery of capabilities, including operations & maintenance, enables an understanding of what it takes to plan, manage, deliver, operate and maintain. George is a well-rounded business leader equipped and driven to develop strategy and handle any situation impeding corporate initiatives.

Throughout his career, George has brought vision and understanding of what methods and tools are needed to obtain buy-in and transform operations or engagements. His mantra for business is an alignment of People Process Technology to best enable the strategy, risk appetite, and fiscal realities in terms of return on investment or ROI. People are naturally willing to engage based on his adaptive leadership style, understanding of root-cause analysis and his drive for decision-quality information and results. His innate talent to engage associates at every level has immeasurably benefitted his companies, partners, others he’s served, and those he’s served with by instilling loyalty and excitement up, down, and across organizations. To a person, each of the people he has worked with over the last 20+ years say that he is one of the best individuals they have worked with. Many describe him as motivating and respect him for his honesty, integrity, dedication and of course good humor. Starting a small business and managing its growth to nearly $38M and 200+ employee enterprise was a challenge. George is one of the three original founders of Cask, an Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Business. Establishing the business, creating a brand and delivering outstanding support to clients and partners was a no-brainer. Ensuring the right tools, techniques and infrastructure were in place to enable the associates hired to carry on the vision of Cask as a “Small Giant” is what separated them from the competition. Investing in consulting skills and technology enablement helped to retain 85% of the workforce, utter commitment to quality and delivery helped increase and diversify the client base by 35% annually, and all this led to achieving over multiple years Consulting Magazine’s Best Small Firms to Work For and Inc 500’s Fastest Growing Companies - #3 and #57 respectively for 2015. Now heading a newly established Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) company has provided new exciting challenges to incorporate a young local workforce to grow and mentor. His latest accomplishments are creating a Global market for the services Cask provides. Working with the Commonwealth of Virginia, George took the company through the Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) program. This established Cask as one of their first services-based company success stories, led to speaking engagements, and sponsorship of Virginia House Bill 858 to establish the Virginia International Trade Corporation. George testified to the US International Trade Commission, on the importance of trade, impact to small businesses, and opportunity to establish the US as a Twenty-first Century powerhouse in the Pacific (TTP) and Trans-Atlantic (TTIP). The realization in the power of global networks led to Vistage Worldwide an assembly of executive coaching, peers and expert leaders.

Prior to Cask, George learned the private sector basics at several small businesses where he rose to manage projects and programs. And before all this, he served 23 years in the Air Force as a Communications-Information Officer finally serving the White House Communications Agency after time as the Executive Officer for the Defense Systems Information Agency Director of Operations, a Liaison Officer to the Marine Corps for Command & Control (C2) and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR). These experiences solidified his ability to coordinate across organizations with Senior Officers, Government Executives, Industry Partners and Globally with our many Allied Nations and Supporting Agencies. George is driven, having completed 2 full competitions, numerous races, marathons, etc. After a lightning strike (yes a direct strike while kayaking), and assuring himself he was ok by climbing Mt Whitney 6-wks later, he decided to truly challenge himself with triathlons. This transformed an already driven leader to resolve even more to never waiver in the face of difficulty. Those who have done endurance races understand the strength and determination, along with the training required to successfully complete these events. This is what George brings every day, while being a father to two amazing daughters who work to support our Nation in the form of outreach for the Office of the Sectary of Defense for Acquisition Technology & Logistics and the other in Counter-Biological Terrorism monitoring. His wife, a kindergarten teacher, generally accepts the craziness he brings to the family and wouldn’t have it any other way after 30 years together.
