Job Description:

Executing & efficiently managing ECOs & MCOs for North China’s “Flextronics Suzhou-SuQian” Electronic Manufacturing Site under APAC Region with around 26 customers. Working proactively by delivering the targets within specified TAT (Turn Around Time) & with 100% Accuracy. Hands on Experience in NPI (New Product Introduction), Engineering Change Management, BOM (Bill of Material) Management, Product Data Management, working knowledge of Agile (PLM Tool) & Baan (ERP Tool) linked to Change Order Management.

Responsibilities:

Creating & handling Engineering Change Order (ECO) for NPI BOM (Bill of Material) as well as for doing sustaining changes in the existing BOM in Agile & Baan as per the request from site.

Creating Part numbers for BOM in Agile & Baan using ECO.

Creating Manufacturing Change Order (MCO) to create or update the AML (Approved Manufacturer List) for Purchased Items in Agile & Baan.

Releasing Parts list to production for new models after implementation of ECOs.

Processing & releasing the RFAs (Request for Action) as per the site requirement.

Using Oracle’s Agile PLM software of version 9.2.2.5 & 9.3.3 for ECO, MCO creation, reviewing, routing for approval, tracking, releasing and implementing.

Analyzing the BOMs closely and coordinating with the site Process/ Product Engineering team to implement the ECO effectively.

Working closely with Procurement and materials teams to review product updates / modifications.

Responding to Business Partner (requestor) and customer on queries relating to Engineering Change Orders (ECO).

Performing QA/QC process for created Change Orders.

Sending ‘Daily Tracker & Summary’ of all the created Change orders to all requestors, Product Engineers, Site People Managers & Pune People Managers.

Ensuring adherence to targets set for all Process Metrics.

Performing root cause analysis to expedite the resolution of service issues.

Training new and existing team members on an ongoing basis on relevant tools or topics related to process.

Mentoring & assisting other associates by playing a role of a strong team player.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:

Awarded quarterly ‘Platinum Award’ in Q2 FY17 for maintaining good performance metrics & accuracy consistently & for doing other assigned tasks within deadlines.

Awarded monthly ‘Pat on Back’ award in April 16 for meeting and exceeding my performance metrics.

Contributed in the successful transfer of ‘ECO & MCO’ projects for three Business Units from Suzhou-China manufacturing Plant to Pune GBS with 100% accuracy & good scores in ‘Test-Run’ & ‘Shadowing Live’ period.

Received appreciation from Team Lead for taking efforts and ownership for achieving good scores in testing and live phase in transfer of above projects of three Business Units comprised of customers like Tektronix, Agilent, Kodak, Philips, Ericsson, Amazon, GE Healthcare, GE Energy and 18 more customers.

Received appreciation from Assistant Manager-Operations for good mail communication with site people which was easy to understand & respond.

Documented & maintained the standard process documents like SOP, Contact Matrix, and Backup Matrix.
