Review data and provide Purchasing proper data links, dimensional information for their use in supplier RFQ’s.
Complete customer specific quote breakdowns.
Quote customer Change Notices, in their system and keep running documentation and supporting info for all change.
Handle pricing inquiries by fax, phone and email and preparing quotations.
Attending pre-tender site meetings to prepare an accurate estimate & follow up on quotations and tenders.
Communicate effectively and track all details of the quotation to the manager & responsible staff for providing feedback to make sure that all departments are timely in providing their relevant quote information.
Follow up on any addition information required by the customer to assist in completing the process of securing the paperwork necessary to close all open financial issues.
Maintain details and organized records of bid documents, correspondence and other projects specific information.
Preparing weekly and monthly progress reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.

OBJECTIVE
WORK RESPONSIBILITIES
Studying of Tender drawings, specification, conditions of contract, instructions to tenders, circulars and all other relevant issues
Measurement of Quantities as per tender drawings and Specification
Preparing bill of quantities as per tender documents.
Preparing and issue (inquiries) sub-contract tender packages including BOQ, specifications, drawings and other documents for the purpose of quotations.
Comparison and evaluation of quotations received against the budget, investigation of sub-con/suppliers capabilities, factory visit, recommendation preferred sub-con/suppliers, review of commercial terms and contract conditions.
Following up with sub-contractors and suppliers for quotation, queries and Technical clarifications.
Preparation of monthly Interim Valuation & Coordinate with Consultant’s Quantity Surveyor for the Clarifications and approval.
Evaluation of Sub-Contractor payment applications and issuing Payment certificate.
Identifying and claiming the variations and negotiate with consultants.
Pricing for additional works based on BOQ price / Build-up with new unit price.
Review, negotiate & Certify subcontractor’s variation.
Keep log book for the payment for each sub-contractors work wise to submit to the commercial manager.
Attending Meeting with Client & Consultant for QS related issues.
Advise to the management about cost and contractual issues.
Quotation inquiries and Negotiation with Sub-Contractors.
Quantity Take off and compare with Bill of Quantity.
To take-off the quantities according to plan.
To take-off the different quantities of Footing, pedestals, Columns, Beams and Slab.
