I-Beta (2015 - )
Performed software testing for a large International Company. Testing included multiple systems, operating systems, and browsers and reporting bugs in Mantis. SKYWEST AIRLINES / SIMPLICITY (2007 - 2015)
Performed general airline duties.
DIRECTV (2007- 2007)
Performed customer service functions in a call center environment dealing with various DIRECTV products.
PRC (2006-2007)
Performed customer service functions in a call center environment dealing with various Verizon Products.
I-Beta (2005 - 2006)
Performed software testing for a Robert Half International Job-Matching Project. Performed software tests for a CNN Pipeline Project. Also conducted functional testing and Beta testing on this Web-based application. Duties included Web testing, recording defects in Test Director, discussing bugs with developers and maintaining close contact with roughly 150 other Beta testers in the field regarding software questions and hardware requirements. Performed both black box and white box testing. Verified table information using SQL. United Airlines (2003 - 2005)
At United Airlines, I was a ramp agent. I assisted in the preparation of airplane departures and other general airline functions.
Eprohealth (2002)
At Eprohealth, I was the primary tester of a new Web-based medical system. I did testing for issues relating to screen design and functionality, as well as more complex tests on Oracle database relationships and data warehousing features. Testing involved ongoing communication with medical personnel, software developers, the design team and management.
Lockheed-Martin Corp. (1995 – 2000)
This 6-month contract resulted in a 5-year commitment at Lockheed-Martin, I did design, analysis, programming, testing and file transfers for a billing system. I was in charge of all online billing applications for various sites around the country. Also wrote numerous reports and created secure files for Oracle databases. Used HTML to create basic Web pages. Received “Vision Awards” for contributing to the success of several projects.
MCI (1994 – 1995)
As part of this contract position, I did analysis, programming and testing for the Traffic Systems Division. I was involved primarily on the Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) System and National LEC Interface System
(NLIS). Both of these projects involved heavy use of DB2 and SQL. Kaiser Permanente (1993 – 1994)
Consulting for Kaiser, I did analysis, programming and testing for numerous health insurance applications primarily dealing with membership eligibility, billing and marketing. All of these applications were done using Cobol II, DB2, SQL and Easytrieve Plus.
Glaxo Pharmaceuticals (1991 – 1993)
While working as a consultant for Glaxo, I developed, programmed, tested, validated and documented a CSP/DB2 Product Complaint System. This project lasted 15 months. I also worked on a Materials and Specifications Project using SQL Server and completed some personal computer applications using the OS 2.0 Operation System.
Phillips Petroleum Company (1989 – 1991)
During two years as a consultant at Phillips Petroleum, I helped develop an Exploration and Production Upstream Financial Operations System. I was a member of a seven-person team responsible for developing on-line CSP/DB2 programs and regression test procedures, coding Cobol batch programs and generating online reports using SQL. I independently wrote several different CSP applications and helped with enhancements and maintenance on many other applications. Basin Electric Power Cooperative (1982 – 1988)
Worked as an analyst for this electric power cooperative. Served as team leader in the development of a Banking Electronic Funds Transfer System. The System was a link between Basin’s financial systems and the Bank of North Dakota. I was responsible for the design of specifications, the organization of communications between end-users and the development team, testing, fine tuning and design of CSP and DB2 tables. Supported accounting-type applications for my first three years with this organization, and was then involved in a Honeywell to IBM conversion.
Natural Gas Pipeline Corp. (1979 – 1982)
As a programmer for Natural Gas Pipeline, I developed many engineering systems using Cobol and Fortran. Performed online testing, set up new test procedures and developed maintenance standards. EDUCATION
