Title: Managing Partner

Project Manager on a contract with SKF/ Baker Instruments that is develops electric motor analyzers for testing static- and dynamic-state motors. This is for predictive maintenance and condition monitoring of electric motors, generators and rotating equipment. The project is to get the product compliant with the European Union CE Mark and RoHS compliance. The CE Mark is related to the safety requirements. As the project manager I oversee the design change, building test units, developing the test plan, evaluation test results, and releasing it to production using the IBM Agile system.

Program Manager on a contract with Agrium that is developing a fertilizer blending applications and cost tracking and margin calculation. This a service-oriented architecture (SOA) system that integrates PeopleSoft system and SAP with a common database and a custom Point of Sale (PoS) application. This application is used at over 1500 PoS locations across North America to manage agricultural products. This application manages the transaction and accounting of 14 billion dollars of business. I introduced the Lean Six Sigma Project Management process this is an evolutionary method of managing programs/ projects it uses Project Management and Business Analysis Maturity Assessments along with project maturity scorecards. This Agile method delivers Projects on time and under budget with clear visual accounting. I also introduced a Change management process to ensure the release into the field is done seamlessly and the end-users are full capable to use the system on day one. They are provided with Computer Based Training (CBT) and a website that enables them to fully understand the changes in the application and how to use it.

This is all visually tracked on the Kanban boards showing the burn down status for all to see. Have introduced the client to strategic planning and implementation of innovative initiatives and significant process improvements including developing a requirements plan, System Security Plan (SSP), test process, test plan, Daily Operation Guide, project management plan, risk plan, communication plan, and database update policy. VIPR is one of five core systems in use to support wildfire management, the application is used by more than 4,000 internal Contracting Officers and thousands of external vendors. Project Manager for the Narrowband/Baseband (NB3) project that replaces the integrated narrowband transmitters and audio/visual baseband system for the three Pennsylvania Air National Guard Commando Solo (CS) III EC-130J aircraft for the Integrated Communications and Information Systems Division and United States Special Operations Command (40 million dollar contract).
