Source systems are in iseries DB2 / RPG programs & Teradata databases and target ODS is built in Netezza.

The BIR batch was running for about 16 hrs daily and the execution time of the batch had to be brought down to about 14 hrs to facilitate data availability for users on time. This project has resulted in saving about 1.5 hours of batch run time daily, making data available to hundreds of users in LBG 1 hours earlier

The project ADR (Analytical Disaster recovery) which is a disaster recovery & database synchronization project involves synchronization of production & disaster recovery(DR) Databases by creating various business rules encompassing a wide range of data created by numerous processes running in the current production environment.
Since this project has to synchronize the data in production & DR DB, it has to consider the entire set of business rules by which data was loaded in production DB for the past 10+ years.
