Reverse engineering project to replace legacy application extracts which are 35+ years old, with Infosphere Datastage ETL jobs. Objective of this project is to develop a centralised ODS layer to integrate data from 23 different countries core leasing systems (NOLS). The ODS data is then to be populated into EDW. Source systems are in iseries DB2 / RPG programs & Teradata databases and target ODS is built in Netezza.

Support and enhancement of RDW (Risk Data Warehouse), Business objects end user reporting. RDW is a business intelligence system used by LBG Commercial Banking Risk Systems team for risk profiling and risk analysis of customers. The RDW system consists of 40+ datamarts held together using conformed dimensions into a datawarehouse. It has been built on Oracle 11g, Datastage 9.1 and unix.

The BIR batch was running for about 16 hrs daily and the execution time of the batch had to be brought down to about 14 hrs to facilitate data availability for users on time. This project has resulted in saving about 1.5 hours of batch run time daily, making data available to hundreds of users in LBG 1 hours earlier
