Specific activities included; advance inbound PO planning tool for work-loading/headcount staffing, process re-layout for labor efficiency and space savings, establishment of throughput goals and cycle time improvement, enhanced prioritization methods/systems to address pending service level issues, automating process for efficient inbound “put-away” activity, and implementation of fail-safe methods of error detection and correction.
