I’m a property claims adjuster with a commercial and residential construction background. My loss reporting experience includes floods, freeze, wind, hail, fire, vandalism and theft. With strong knowledge of properties and structures, I complete claims efficiently, diligently and with compassion to policyholders from the initial investigation to the final submission of the report. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Property Claims Adjuster, Cross Country Adjusting; Pageland, SC 2014-Present Using Symbility software, I worked on daily claims for wind, flood, vandalism/malicious mischief, fire or theft. The turnaround time for each claim was within 24 hours of first contact. I was objective and fair to all parties involved up to the limits of the policy and would respectfully explain the process and policy type before inspecting a claim. Property Claims Adjuster, Pilot Catastrophe Services; Mobile, AL 2010-Present During my time with Pilot, I worked perils wind and flood claims in Pennsylvania, D.C. and Virginia. Responsibilities included contacting the insured within 24 hours to set ap- pointment to inspect and scope the loss, respectfully explaining the process and policy type (ACV or RCV), as well as their deductible and depreciation. I would then estimate the damages per the insured's policy utilizing Xactimate software within 24 hours of first contact.

Journeyman Mason, Various Contractors; Chicagoland Area 2006-2010 I continued to work as a master mason craftsman on both residential and commercial projects. The largest-scale project completed was a 50,000 square foot solid masonry structure in Wheaton, IL.

Owner, Joseph Mason Contractors; Clarendon Hills, IL 1985-2006 For over twenty years, I fulfilled the roles of owner, foreman and estimator for my mason contracting business. Along with a small team of laborers, I completed hundreds of commercial and residential projects throughout Chicagoland, ranging from rehabbing old buildings to new home construction.
