Key responsibilities include:

To identify and generate trade related business in the primary and secondary markets of LCs and

LGs, Syndications, Cash Management and Payments primarily in Africa and in the GCC

countries.

To procure commercial, trade, and treasury limits in favour of Banca Monte dei Paschi SpA for

the respective business lines of the bank and related departments.

To establish, maintain and represent the bank vis- -vis more than 400 correspondent banks in

Africa & Middle East and the national central banks of the countries where there is a direct

presence ( Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, UAE).

To prepare and submit to the Credit Dept. credit applications in order to obtain/increase credit

lines for Commercial/financial activities.

To control the utilization and availability of credit lines with African and GCC Countries

correspondent banks.

To assist Treasury dept in establishing treasury lines ( mostly MM) with foreign FIs.

To follow up and arrange for the establishment of BKE and for AML Compliance as required by

internal procedures with the correspondent banks and FIs in Africa and GCC Countries.

To maintain the internal due diligence database of foreign FIs .

To prepare / review and put in place the MRPA with international FIs in the assigned areas for

undertaking the Risk Participation in Trade related transactions.

To review the Nostro & Vostro Account relationships

Based in Cairo, Egypt, with business trips in the reference area (MENA).
