Quality Control confirming the international standards & Aramco standard for piping, welding, material fabrication related to petrochemical Refineries.

Duties & Responsibilities

Supervision of all piping Inspection Activities.

Reviewing the approved quality plans, manuals and scope of work to perform the required inspection.

Maintain and monitor the approved QA/QC procedures and inspection program.

Coordinating and supervising all the stages of inspection activities for the fabrication, manufacturing Quality, providing a proactive quality assurance.

Responsible for the complete piping activities as required by the existing company standard codes.

Coordinating Project activities as per Procedure & Specification.

Inspection of isometric drawing with respect to the P&ID

Reviewing isometrics, support drawings and details.

Material receiving inspection as per drawing and specification.

Inspection of materials with test certificates as per the requirements.

Check the calibration validity for all measuring devices.

Verification of dimensional fit up and welds preparation in compliance with applicable engineering standards drawing.

Monitor all welding & welding related activities.

Weld visual inspection of the weld joints.

Witnessing the alignment orientation and dimensions of installed piping.

Inspection of fabricated spools and supports.

Inspection of type of valves their direction tag number rating and sizes

Witnessing the flange joint assembly and bolt torque.

Verification of Final documentation of fabricated spools.

Prepare the documents for the QC activities and test packages updating all activities & prepare the test packages status and progress reports.

Preparing the material take off list as per the isometric drawing.

Coordinating with client or consultant while inspection is carried out and offer clarification is required.

Liaise with clients representative on matter relating to inspection, preparation and Completion of manufacturing data reports

Prepare hydro test packages, line check and punch listing.

Co-ordination with Client in clearing the system for Hydro Test.

Witnessing the Hydro testing of the pipe lines.

Witnessing of pneumatic test,

Raises Non-conformance reports as required and monitors their development and resolution.

Visual inspection of plant piping and prepare punch list after installation.
