Coordinate talent and support of existing machine technicians, engineering techs, and engineers to increase production from new equipment platform by 42% in five months thru maintenance, PM, projects, and lean principles.

Led team in dynamic work environment of completely new site, responsible for process parameters, technical support, & process training aspects of production area containing 43 separate chemical systems, both hot and cold service. Accountable for projects to improve reliability & quality, and managing operational budget for process department.
Led internal and external design reviews of equipment. Including specification development, drawing reviews, vendor proposal reviews, developed project timelines and equipment startup
Came in under budget for 2012 by $2M through multiple savings in accurate part ordering, lean projects, and re-structured process training programs to reduce travel required.
Recognized for developing and leading effort which increased detail level of process documentation to support newly trained workforce, & met compliance regulations. All 33 documents were completed a year before the other production areas. Developed an active document maintenance system proven to dramatically reduce man-hours required to keep documents compliant.
Established storage and tracking systems for process information, department overtime, weekly status reports & job plans. Resulting in recognition and resolution of production needs with quicker turnarounds and more team-members available with necessary information to resolve situations.
