Associate Design Engineer

Research & Development, Itron, Inc. November 2015 – Present

Cadence design and layout of PCBs those are used in the testing manufactured products.

Fault analysis, soldering and troubleshooting of PCBs using Digital Multimeter, Power Supply, Oscilloscope, Spectrum analyzer, and Precision LCR meter and submit report.

Conduct IC level Thermal test using thermocouples and temperature chamber, analyze thermal data using Tracer DAQ Pro, and publish report based on the analysis of collected thermal data.

Hands on experience in ESD testing of PCBs using ESD gun.

Experienced in JTAG boundary scan, Tera Term, TI Uniflash for test purposes of PCBs.

Familiar with FVT (Functional Verification Test) and ICT (In-Circuit Test).

Prepare documentation for outsourcing PCB design and test fixtures.

Continuous follow up and co-ordinate weekly meeting with the vendors and update management.

Research on RF device, read Schematic, and prepare theory of operation of the circuit design.
